Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to do track and field and/or cross country in college because I’m very passionate about these sports and want to keep improving at them. I believe competing in college level track and cross country will allow me to grow as a person, as well as a student and an athlete. Even though the events I posted times for on here are the events I mainly focus on now, I’m more than willing to branch out and try different events to help the team I find myself on.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, I pursue healthy athletic performance by being aware of how my body is feeling. If I suspect I have an injury forming or flaring up, I’ll usually take a step back and speak to my coach about what I can do to make practice productive while not aggravating my area of pain.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
