Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I always strive to better my team, whether dry land training during the Covid shutdown or on the water. My team works hard, we support each other and we care about each other. I am honored to have been voted by my team mates to be a co-captain fo the 2022-23 season.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I studied Tae Kwon Do for 11 years reaching the level of First Degree Black Belt, and I was a competitive nationally ranked fencer(saber) as well. I have continued martial arts (Jiu Jitsu) and use boxing as part of my daily regimen. I am serious about maintaining a healthy diet and balance in my training.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

For the past three years I have been actively involved in a local Charity called Martha's Table that provides nutritional and educational support for children and their families. I have worked in both meal preparation and distribution, as well as an annual Christmas toy drive. I realize how fortunate I am, and realize the opportunity that I have to help others in my local community.
