Personal Highlights

I have been very selective in my mileage for my career, having had nagging pains when I was growing as Freshman/Sophmore. All my times are achieved holding myself to 20 miles/week as XC. I am very healthy now, thanks to some sizable changes in late Sophmore year. Including Physical Therapy to get pain free, swimming and strengthening with a DI NCAA champion/personal trainer/coach at Oregon/UCSB.

I've started to train for Triathalons. Getting back into swim shape as a crosstraining to my track. Biking with my dad. With my track and swim background, I expect to be an elite performer at 16 yrs.

At start of 2014 season, my doctor figured out I was Anemic. Lacking iron that was effecting my stamina and kick. After addressing my iron levels, I have dropped (2:10 seconds) in a 800M trial, which I have documented as a video. I am shooting for sub 2:10 as a Junior this year.

2014 - I'm strength training with Jenny Kenyon. What a difference this is making in XC. Still only running 20 miles/ week. Way less than other runners in XC improved with my club coach "Daniels" and would like to augment his routines with a world class track coach willing to give me help and improve my skills.. I'm planning to run Mt Sac for CIF finals and move on to state.

I have been nationally ranked in USATF and AAU National Junior Olympics. I am focused on improving to become top 10 in the Nation.

I am a passionate athlete. Driven, motivated, coach able. I value, respect and admire my coaches for taking the time to help me.

Anchor for Relays, leader on / off the track.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I like to help people learn what I know, and teach people what I have learned. For me this is helping around the track with younger kids, or helping the coaches with younger soccer player development.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I do not believe in drius or alcohol use, being mean or disrespectful to coaches or not working hard which means being average in practice. To me, healthy performance means eating well (balanced meals with fruits, nuts, proteins, carbs, salads & veggies), working really really hard in practice, and warming up well to perform at meets. This means showing up early, helping coaches get ready, and doing my best.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I regularly help (5-6x per year) in the Conejo Simi Swim Club (CSSC) meets. There is always a need for young people to help run the meets, or help at the snack bars so the parents can watch their kids swim. I enjoy helping as this was my oldest sister's swim club, and now it's also my younger sisters club too.

I am always training in soccer or track or crosstraining swimming or biking, so it's hard to have extra time besides my schooling to help others more.
