I ran cross country the past 2 seasons and ran a personal best of 17:48 on a 2.8 miles course. I placed 7th overall among JV on this same course which is Crystal Springs. Crystal Springs is on of the most challening crosscountry runs in all of california.

I have a uncle, Solomon Hunter who ran for the University of Tenn in the late 1970 early 1980's. He was a Miler/half Miler. NCAA champion in the distance medley.

His brother, my other uncle, Gary Hunter, ran a 1:56 half mile split as a sophmore. He ran the lead off leg of the two mile relay at the PA state Championship which they won having the fast time in the nation that year. 7:40.00. Solomon Hunter ran the anchor leg.

Both has numerous awards and championships.

My father, Greg Hunter, anchored his 2 mile relay team his senior year at his state championship. His team finished not only winning the state championship but also had the fastest time in the nation at 7:40.00. He ran a low 1:50.00 split.

I come from a family of middle distance runners. At the present, I am running as fast and if not faster then my father and uncles. I look forward to a very seccessful junior year only to be kick off with an outstanding senior year, just like those before me.
