Football Additional

Due to an unrelated football injury, Ben played the last 3 games of his sophmore year, so the honors he recieved were quite remarkable. He basically had 9 months to get back in shape for the season his junior year.

Ben has been playing Offensive Tackle for his football career but has the size for potential at Offensive Guard. He is also slated to start the fall season at 3 Technique and 5 Technique on defense.

All 4 losses can partially be attributed to the abscence of SJM's quarterback of 4 years. Due to injuries not related to football, he was unable to play. Needless to say, there wasn't really a back up for the quarterback... sort of a key player in the game.

Personal Highlights

As a junior in a private high school Ben was named First Time All League at Offensive Left Tackle and was named Most Improved Player and also earned Offensive Player of the Week. He missed most of his sophmore year due to an injury unrelated to football. He currently is working out with his team every morning before school and with a personal trainer after school. He maintains a 3.5GPA We are working with a registered Dietitian to increase his size in a healthy way... willing to play Guard.
