My Stats may not say all that much, but it's truely not all about stats in my opinion.I am the type of player who gives his all on every play, who will never give up, who will out hustle any one person on the floor. Not only because I am a team player, but because i love the game and hate to lose. I will do what ever it takes to win. The reason my season stats and career stats are the same is because this was my first year ever playing varsity basketball, and i started. As a freshmore and sophmore I was cut, by the same coach that today starts me, and last year as a junior i played junior varsity, because I had limited experience. But I worked so hard from freshman year to my senior year, and it was worth it, i went from getting cut to starting on a varsity 4a school, playing some of the top teams in the state. No i may not be able to give you 20 points a night, but I will usually give you 6 to 8 points a game, I'm a consistent player, coaches know what to expect out of me, hard work, and hustle. I avereged 8 rebounds a game this year, with some games of 13, and 15 rebounds a game, if thats not hustling as a 6'3" SF, then i don't know what is. My teamates would ask me how and why I work so hard in practice, and I'd say because I want to get better. They'd see me after practice with ice on my knees asking me why I push myself so hard, and I'd say because I wouldn't be starting if I didn't. I know if you just talk to any of my teamates, coaches, even fans, they would all say the same thing, the kid gives it every thing he has out there. We have a stat sheet, almost like a hustle sheet at our school that we keep track of every game with a point system and if you just look at that it tells the way I play, I have been winning in that all year, even though I don't score all the points. I know if you give me a chance you will not be disappointed, I will bust my butt everyday at practice, because I want to learn, I want to get better, and I want to take my game to another level.
