Tournament Descriptions

I would just like to say im a fighter and never think I am out of a match.

Top Tournament Finish

I recently finished 1st in my distict endorser tournament by not giving up a set the entire time. I then went to the boys 18 super where I went on to almost beat the #5. I was up 4-3 40-0 but lost 7-5,6-2. It was my first super and in the future I know I will do better at this event.

Tennis Honors

My team got 2nd in state in 2001-02 and 2003-04 and got 3rd in state in 2002-03. I played varsity all of these years. My junior year 2003-04 I placed 5th in state in doubles. We lost in the tournament of champions in St. Louis earlier in the year to the eventual 1st place team 6-3,3-6,10-8.

Tennis Additional

My serve is my biggest weapon...I can break my 1st serve off on the duece court or hit a flat hard serve down the middle. On the add side i hit a kick serve into the backhand or can break one off down the middle. My groundstrokes are improving every day. I am definately stronger on the forehand. I am currently working on short angle volleys and I hope to really work on my volleys this year. I think I have a ton of potential considering I just started playing tennis freshmen year and have gotten as far as I have. I also think my serve could be a bigger weapon still at 6"3. I am also very long so I can cover a lot of court and get to balls some people could not get too. I think if I could get some help in college on making my groundstrokes more consistent and volleys crisper with my serve and height could make an impact
