Personal Highlights

Evaluation from Baseball Factory @ Pirate City:

Currently, he projects best at 1B for the next level. Feet are active displaying proper foot work around the bag but needs to be more aggressive in coming to get and playing through ground balls with his body. Glove action is a plus as he shows sure hands and consistently displays the ability to pick balls out of the dirt, saving throws. Throws are accurate. Offensively, LeBarron shows a balanced approach and quick hands that generate plus bat speed. He has strength in his swing with baseball jumping off his bat when centered. At the event, he was 3 for 5 with a 2B and 3B plus 3 BB as he shows a strong recognition of the strike zone.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I plan on continuing to umpire throughout my high school and college years. I also plan on continuing to help when I can at the Salvation Army Center.

I am a Certified Umpire in my local association. I am a member of the Painted Post Little League Board of Directors in the capacity of Umpire-In-Chief.

I also am a Staff Volunteer teacher for Matt Burch Baseball Camps

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a Certified Umpire in my local association. I am a member of the Painted Post Little League Board of Directors in the capacity of Umpire-In-Chief. I umpire for the AAA Minor League, Major League, and Senior League children at our local Little League fields. I also have worked in the Concession Stand for five years. I announce games and keep score and pitch counts in the booth areas. I have also helped coach a Little League team and All-Star team.

On Thursday nights I also volunteer at the Salvation Army Food Give Away to the needy families. At Christmas time I also participate in the Salvation Army Children's Gift Give Away.
