Megan made the Helias Varsity team as a sophomore in 2005 and played middle blocker all season. In her first year on varsity she lead the team in solo and assist blocks. She broke two school blocking records for the most solo and assist blocks in a season. She helped Helias to a 28-9-1 record including a District and Sectional Championships as well as a Quarterfinal finish in Class 4.

As a junior, Megan started varsity at Helias and led them to another District Championship. Helias fell in sectionals to Washington. Helias ended with a 28-6-2 record. Megan was selected to the all District first team and all sectional first team. In 2006 Megan again set Helias school records for solo block (30/season) and assist blocks (70/season) along with breaking the record for kill percentage (45%). In 2007 Helias is planning on having their best year yet.

From a club perspective, Megan helped lead CMVBC to a regional championship in 2006, along with numerous tournament wins. As a team of 16’s CMVBC finished the season ranked #1 in HOA 17’s Silver Division. This year in club, Megan is looking forward to playing many 17 gold tournaments in the St. Louis, Springfield and Kansas City Area .
