Personal Highlights

I play all the sports that my school offers, like volleyball, basketball, and track and field. My freshman year was cut short with being diagnosed with pneumonia. I did however get to participate in a few meets before realizing that I had had pneumonia, like the Shocker Pre-State Challenge where I was in the Elite High-jump. My sophomore year I was the SCBL 100 and 200 m. Champion. I was the Regional 200 m. champion as well. I qualified for State in the 100, 200 and 4 by 100 m. races. For my Junior year season I competed in my usual 100, 200, and high jump, but that season my coach decided to try me in the 400 for the first time. I only had the privilege to run this race a couple times before state due to injury, but I qualified for state in all 4 of my events. I medaled in the high jump and the 400 as well where I also set a new school record. I am really looking forward to my senior year because this season I will have much more time to prepare and train for the 400m. race as well as prepare for my other events. Thank you for your time!
