Other Academic Information
I went to Japanese school until the end of 9th grade and am fluent in both the language and culture. In fact, I feel more Japanese than American. I am able to distinguish between the two mentalities, but the reality is that I am a blue-eyed and red-haired Japanese.

Personal Highlights

I have grwon up in Japan, and went to a Japanese school until the end of 9th grade, and I am now a junior at St. Maur International School in Yokohama. I run cross country and track for my school, and was the Kanto-plane cross country and 3200m track champion last year. My 5k time is between late 18s and in 20s. Our league runs 2.1Miles and not 5k, and my best time for the course (which is usually at the Army Recreational Center in Tama, Tokyo) is 13:06, the course record being 13:03. My 3200m PR was 11:56 last year. I know that my times may not be as competative as runners in the US, but I love running, and I train hard while maintaining balance between my passion and academics.
