I am a two time All American, both in my freshman and sophomore years at the Baylor School. I have received the runner up high point award at The Southeastern Short Course Championchips in 2004. At the 2006Tennessee State High School Championship Meet in Nashville, Tennessee, I have swam the 50 (6th), 100 (7th), 200, freestyle, and both the 200(state records)and 400 freestyle relays (state records). In 2006 I swam the 100 free, in which I placed 9th. I swam the 200 free, in which I placed 7th. I anchored the 200 free relay, in which we placed 3rd. I also anchored the 400 yard free relay, in which we placed 1st. The Baylor boys team placed second place overall, and we won the combined team score.
In 2007, I swam the 50 free, in which I placed 6th. I swam the 100 free, in which I placed 7th. Finally I led off the 400 free relay, in which we placed 1st(state record). In 2007, the Baylor boys team placed 1st overall and we won the combined team score.
This past spring I swam at the Southeastern Short Course Sectional Meet in Atlanta, Georgia. My best finnish was the 50 freestyle, in which I placed 32nd, just missing the C final.

Other Academic Information
I have allways been interested in coaching when I get out of college or later on in my life. If I do not go on to coach, I would like to practice sports medicine / physical therapy, or with a physical education degree.

Personal Highlights

Im Josh Sosna, I am from Chattanooga, TN.

I have swam my entire life, but I have only swam year around for one year with out playing another sport. Before I made up my mind about swimming in college, I played baseball, wrestled, and ran cross country. I have allways considered myself to be a team leader, in swimming and in all of the other sports I have taken part of. I look forward to swimming in college, and to continue my swimming and academic career.
