Born near Cusco,Peru.....Adopted, citizen by derivation from US parents.Competitive swimmer since age 6, Started with summer league, joined year round YMCA team at age 9..Qualified varsity at Scotch Plains NJ HS as Freshman, moved to St Joseph-Metuchen as a mid term transfer joined Varsity team . Member of St Joseph HS 2006 NJ boys swimming non-public state championship team. Hard worker, team player,often gets best times in relays at the big school meets.
