I was invited and attended the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Junior Showcase event this summer.

I led team in most offensive categories this summer.

So far this summer I am leading the Junior Div. Little League in Webster City in every offensive category and am currently batting .923 Here is the link to the stats. http://www.gamechanger.io/g/wcllboysjunior

Starting varsity outfielder. Led team last summer in home runs (one an in the park), steals and fielding %. This summer I will focus on leading team to more wins through positive attitude and leading team in all offensive and defensive categories.

Baseball Additional

Invited to Drake Relays in both high jump and 4 x 100. Went to state meet as a freshman in high jump and am currently jumping 6'4 consistently.(only freshman in 3A field) and placed 8th. Also went in distance medley and 4 x 100. My team set school record for third time in 4 x 100 at state and were state champs. We ran 43.05.
I also earn an "A" avg. in school and work hard to be a positive leader in the classroom. National honor society member.

I am an "A" student. A member of National Honor Society and scored a 30 on the ACT. My stats are on quickstats iowa/webster city/cal Zahn. Currently batting .375 with 2 home runs, 4 triples and 8 doubles. Won 8th grade State Championship in high jump. (5'11)
Placed 8th as frosh in state high jump and ran the third leg of state champion 4 x 1 setting school record in the process.
I led the league (7th and 8th graders) in home runs, hits, triples, RBI, and stolen bases the last two seasons. Finished 2011 season with .750 BA and 1.167 slg. %
ICCC fall league hitter of the week Sept. 16th. Batted .417 in fall league season.
Received Kiwanis academic accolade at honor banquet for top students.

Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I sprint everywhere while on the field and always try and help the younger kids learn their positions and baseball concepts.

Off of the field I volunteer my time getting the field ready and also working with special needs children at a local church.
