Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am hoping to be a successful businessman one day , and have the resources to help a multitude of people, either financially or otherwise. I believe that if everyone that has the ability to help others would do so,this world would be a better place for all of us.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue my "healthy athletic performance" by exercising regularly. I practice with my travel baseball team on a regular basis. During school ,I do strength training until baseball practice there begins in the spring. I try to eat right and get the proper amount of rest. I think that all of this helps my performance in the classroom and out on the field.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am an after school math tutor, helping kids that are struggling in their regular classes. I also help an elderly gentleman in the neighborhood. I shovel snow for him and help him with chores around his house that he is unable to do by himself. I am also a volunteer aide for the Glenbard North Science Department.I volunteer whenever possible at events such as"Relay for Life",and the "Cancer Society Car Wash". I also volunteer to help out at the school concession stand during other sporting events. I also assisted at Parent night and eighth grade night.
