GET RECRUITED TO PLAY COLLEGE ICE HOCKEY

College Ice Hockey has a great history and many young players dream about pulling on the skates for a college team and competing against other schools. Intercollegiate hockey has many different levels and opportunities for athletes to compete at. Of course there’s the top-tier schools that compete to play in the NCAA Frozen Four, but there’s also loads of great options at the lower levels of competition as well. No matter where you’re currently playing, it’s super important to have an online ice hockey recruiting profile to maximize your exposure to college coaches and get the most amount of recruiting and scholarship opportunities.

HOW TO GET AN ICE HOCKEY SCHOLARSHIP

The first step in the recruiting process is thinking about what schools and competition level are the best for you. You have to think about things like what schools have the academic major you want to pursue? Which coaches and teammates will I get along best with? Where are my favorite schools located and what division level are they in? There are many other factors and that’s why your recruiting journey and search for a scholarship should be a wide one. Don’t only contact one or two college ice hockey coaches, contact as many as you can and get your name, video and important information out to them.
